KDP Says My Cover Is the Wrong Size

Cover sizing issues can happen when your KDP and Coverjig settings aren’t properly lined up.

The most common reason is that an incorrect page count has been input into Coverjig. Please make sure that the number of pages entered in Coverjig matches the number of pages in your manuscript.

The other settings to check are the trim size and paper type as these also directly affect the final size of your cover files. These settings are displayed for each your covers in theCompleted Covers tab of your account.

If you need to change either of these details in Coverjig, you can make a revision and update the relevant details in thePaperback tab (orHardcover if creating a hardcover).
